Treatment
Counseling sessions are collaborative and conducted with compassion, respect, and curiosity. We will consider where you feel stuck, as well as identify what will support your flexibility and freedom. Depending on your needs, this process may include lessening the impact of traumatic experiences, learning ways to manage distress, practicing self-kindness, and increasing engagement in what gives meaning and purpose to your life.
The approaches I rely on include mindfulness- and acceptance-based cognitive behavioral therapies, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), ego state therapy, somatic approaches, narrative therapy, and prolonged grief treatment.
